Destiny on XboxOne

Among the MMORPGs I've tried, Destiny is becoming my favorite. I have just started playing this game late last month. At first, I was just watching Ceejay play, and eventually, my curiosity got the best of me, so I have to try it myself. I have played Halo 3 before so playing Destiny was like second nature by now (thanks to my mentor).

Before I started this game, I have already watched (and heard) a lot of YouTube videos. Some are unhappy with the way this game works, while some are loving it. And right now, I'm with the latter.

Destiny is set in a post-apocalyptic world (like many other games). It centers on the journey of the Guardians. Yes, that's us. We are the last defenders of humanity. Guardians are divided into three distinct races (Humans, Awokens and Exo) and three special classes (Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans). Now, my Guardian is an Awoken and a Warlock - characteristics that I typically choose in most of my games.

One of the interesting things in this game is the voice of Peter Dinklage. [sing to the tune of GoT's opening credits ..Peter Dinklage, Peter Dinklage, Peter Dinklage ...Peeeterrr Dinklageeee] People have been complaining about his monotonic voice. Hey guys, need I remind you that he is a robot in this story. Well, that's just my opinion.

Anyway, for ios users, you can download the Destiny Companion App from the App Store. It lets you view your Guardian, your stats, as well as your Grimoire score. Pretty cool right? :) Another app that you can download is the Destiny TImers. This gives you timers for every known public event on Earth, the Moon, Venus and Mars. It updates automatically so you get fresh timers all the time. Pretty convenient for people who are just starting up like me.

Okay, that's all for now. Enjoy the game! xx
