Work, School and Everything in Between

Life can be difficult at times. Balancing work, school and other aspects of your life
can be quite burdensome. At times, you might wonder where in the world
can you buy extra time?! If there is such a time-turner like Hermione's,
I'd gladly give my money away.

But reality bites, until someone invents a time-turner or a time machine (calling Sheldon Cooper), we just have to think of ways to juggle everything on our plate.

Here are five tips that might just let us help survive this crazy world were in.

1. Time Management

The balancing act is rather a tough sell.
It is easier said than done. But you just have to do it. Try using some of the present technologies that we have today to make your life a bit easier.

2. Set your Priorities

This works hand-in-hand with time management.
Nowadays, multitasking is something that most of us are used to do.
This has advantages and disadvantages. What I would like to highlight is the
disadvantage of practicing this one. Yes, you can do a lot of things,
but the bad thing is you do not finish any. You start this, then you'll start that,
thus dividing your time and eventually you'll realize that you were not able to really
get the result that you want. What we can do is to set our priorities.
Do first the things the needs to be done, then after that, move on to the next.
Creating your own checklist of Things to do for the day helps a lot.

3. Realistic Expectations

This is where reality bites.
Yes you wanna do a lot of things in a day, but there's only 24hrs.
Be realistic. There are just some limitations.
So set realistic goals for the day.

4. Never Give Up

Having the will and motivation to do all the things that you want to do is very important. Once you put your mind and soul into it, it will and can be done! :)
No matter what the obstacles you might encounter. Like what I have always said,
it's looking at a glass half-full and not half-empty. :)

5. "ME" Time

Now this, this is the most important one.
We all have responsibilities - to our family, work, school and even friends.
And sometimes, doing our fair share may take some toll on us,
that is why some R&R is really necessary.

That's my five tips right there. And yes, don't forget to smile often.
Have a great day ahead! xx
