I have been an ENVI user for as long
as I can remember. ENVI products offer the geospatial software foundation you
need to process and analyze imageries to give you the information you need.
With their partnership with ESRI, all their products are fully integrated with
ArcGIS.
So, what’s new with ENVI? ENVI 5.2 is
coming!
ExelisVIS has packed it full with new
features and functionalities that will help us do more with our geospatial data
than ever before. Pretty exciting!
Some of the new functionalities
includes:
- New spatio-temporal analysis tools that will enable users to view and analyze multiple images of the same space over time
- New full motion video capabilities that will surely provide unique functionalities for working with videos in a geospatial context
- New and updated sensor support (NetCDF-4, WorldView-3, SkySat-1)
- Enhancements to ENVI display and analysis tools, such as the completely new 2D Scatter Plot tool that will improve the overall user experience
